CA Anti-Virus Plus Anti-Spyware 2011 is solid antivirus software from a respected manufacturer. CA specializes in business and enterprise security solutions, and their consumer-level desktop solutions are pretty good too. We loved the sleek user interface, but unfortunately, CA AntiVirus Plus is missing quite a few of the advanced features we found in the best antivirus software. In their defense, CA has added some nice new features like rootkit detection and USB scanning, but these features have been standard fare for the best antivirus products for a couple of years now. Overall, CA’s level of security is fine, but the antivirus software is still missing some nice features and just doesn’t stand out in the competitive field of antivirus software.
