McAfee is one of the biggest names in computer security software, and their desktop antivirus software, AntiVirus Plus, is pretty good. While they’re not the fastest or the most effective antivirus software, there are some redeeming qualities that make McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2011 a compelling security software.
McAfee AntiVirus Plus includes virus protection and more, with a few added utilities that improve usability and effectiveness. Their SiteAdvisor toolbar continues to provide proactive protection while you search online. The new Idle Timer brings improved performance and efficiency. Overall, McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2011 is solid but can’t compete with some of the more advanced antivirus products.
